Our 2008 selection brings you eight  brand new varieties  with plants from the countries top hybridists including (in alphabetical order) Ken Dymond, Dennis Hunt, Ken Lea, Alan Shellard, and Alan Stubbs.

 

The 2008 selection offers Angels, Basic Zonals, Dwarf Zonals, Regals, and Stellars. As usual it was difficult to decide from our trials benches which ones to release but rest assured there will be more exciting varieties to follow in 2009.

MELANIE DAY (Alan Stubbs) A stellar with semi-double orange/red blooms. Plentiful loose frilly heads on well zoned foliage. £5.00

CAROLYN DEAN (Alan Stubbs) A stellar with double rosy red, densely packed blooms on a compact plant. Exhibition variety.  £5.00

QUANTOCK CLARE (Ken Dymond) An angel with burgundy upper petals and pale pink lower petals. Wonderfully compact with an even habit and small leaves. Will make a fantastic show plant.  £5.00

(Ken Dymond) An angel with large blooms of burgundy upper petals and pale pink lower petals which are heavily veined with burgundy. Pretty. 

This plant was named for the BEGS national show which is taking place in Scarborough on  14th June 2008.

(Dennis Hunt) A regal with pretty pastel pink  frilled blooms which sit close to dense foliage. A very compact exhibition variety.
